I don’t know about you, but I can sometimes forget that progress isn’t usually made by sitting around waiting for giant leaps but by being willing to consistently take very small steps.
When we take tiny steps, it can sometimes seem like we aren’t making any progress, and then, one day, we look back and see just how far we’ve come. This can be frustrating at times, but they all add up, leading us to great heights. The key is making sure you’re headed in the right direction and then being persistent.
That direction is an inward one for me and has been for a long time. Spiritual progress can’t be measured by looking outside ourselves but is found in one simple question: Do I feel more peaceful? This is how I know I’m headed in the right direction.
I’ve also found that we often have to pass through some dark clouds to find that peace; that progress can sometimes look like things aren’t going well, and I try not to be fooled by this. It’s rather like a glass of water with sediment resting on the bottom. When we pour fresh water in the glass, it stirs that goop up and can make the water look worse, but it’s only kicking all that crap up so it can come to the surface for healing.
I’ve learned not to be afraid of the goop but to see it as an opportunity for true healing. If we keep pouring in fresh water—spiritual truth, divine love, forgiveness, and light—eventually, the water becomes clear. Even if we do it drop by drop.

Thank you for your inspirational words, they are such a blessing to me. God Bless
