Things are rarely as they appear, and our spiritual growth is no exception. There have been times when I thought I might be regressing when it eventually became clear that I was making tremendous progress.
Sometimes it looks like things are falling apart when we are actually making substantial spiritual shifts. I’ve experienced this more than a few times. It’s like the old life has to fall away to make room for the sprouting new life.
Sometimes it looks like nothing is happening, but beneath the surface, the roots that support us in unimaginable ways are quietly extending their tentacles deeper and deeper.
Don’t look to the surface appearances for what is true. These roots are deeper than you think, and although they can’t be seen with the eyeballs, trust that they will hold you up in even the fiercest winds.

Hello,
A question….
Often times when I sit to “meditate” or “turn within”…there is a feeling that could be described like this…I don’t like experience so let me meditate to try and change experience….escape
How is this attitude turned around?
