There certainly doesn’t seem to be a shortage of opinions in the world, and the most fervently held and vocalized beliefs often surround spirituality and religion.
I began to have very profound spiritual experiences many years ago, and over the years, I’ve come to see clearly that the deeper I go, the more I realize how much I don’t know. These things must be experienced; we can’t read something in a book (any book) and understand what is being said without the experience.
To believe we can is like having never eaten anything but oatmeal and going to a restaurant with the most wondrous and diverse menu that has ever existed. We sit down and study the items and the ingredients. We discuss the menu with others and perhaps interview the chef. We even argue about it. From this, we believe we know all about the food.
Only by actually tasting the delectable treats could we possibly even begin to understand what that menu is pointing to. We can’t discover this by eating the words; the words are just pointers to the food.
When I first began having these experiences, I wanted to talk about them but quickly learned that this isn’t always wise. Many have never actually tasted the tiniest crumb on that menu, yet have very strong opinions about what it says and vehemently defend these ideas.
I’ve learned to quietly live the truth that has and continues to unfold. It is the living of truth that elevates us to inexplicable heights.
The silent example of a life transformed speaks louder than any words.
Jane,Thank You for the Beautiful painting.God has truly given you a talent. You are right, the Bible says “Work on your own salvation with fear and trembling “I know that l fall and come short every day but l ask the Lord to forgive me and help me every single day. I know that One day and l pray that one day soon, the Lord is coming back to get his children. No man knows when but the Father only. Amen 🙏🏻

I most definitely agree with you. I find myself not making the time to go with in, I also found myself being triggered recently and I let it get to me, without taking time for my own physical and mental self care, would you be willing to share what your daily routine or rituals are of practicing going within and meditating. I know how, it’s not always my go to as I wish it was. I love the last part “The silent example of a life transformed speaks louder than any words.”
I see your artistry is changing a bit it new pieces your posting, they are all beautiful, you are so talented, I love your beautiful work and look forward to what you share in art and words.
Thank you.

Hi Dee Dee,
What you are referring to is just a problem with motivation. We all experience this at times. It’s the belief that something else will still work, but as we learn more and more that nothing else really brings us peace, we become more and more motivated to seek peace where it is…within.
I don’t have a routine as such or follow a formula at this stage of my spiritual evolution; it changes every day. That’s not to say that a more structured practice wasn’t helpful at one point.
I don’t know your spiritual and religious background, but you might find the books and teachings by Joel S. Goldsmith very helpful. He uses Christian terminology but with a decidedly different understanding than the more mainstream and historical approach. The Art of Meditation is one title, but you might want to start with the book The Infinite Way.
