It always seems like we need to get something “out there” to make us happy and draw something to ourselves. However, this places us at the mercy of everything “out there” and can lead to frustration and a sense of powerlessness.
The good news is that we actually experience what we give out, however much it might seem otherwise, and we are not at the mercy of anything. I can always choose to see through more loving eyes. Nobody and nothing can stop me from doing this. I can always choose to forgive. I can always choose to be grateful, and as I choose these things, I will see more love, kindness, and forgiveness shining back at me because I gave it.
Here’s the other great news: We can’t do this alone, but there’s a Presence within that does it for us. We only need to want to do it and be willing to do this, and this Presence will jump for joy at this invitation.
But as I always say, don’t take my word for it. Take it into the laboratory of your own life and find out for yourself. I know this works. I’ve had many, many astounding experiences living from this place.
I went from being carless, jobless, homeless (although never on the street), and not knowing where my next meal was coming from to having more than I could have ever imagined. I have seen all sorts of ailments healed, sometimes instantaneously. I have experienced the healing of relationships that were transformed from deeply painful to a profound sense of love and adoration. Too many little things and big things to count. The most important of which is the deep sense of inner peace that comes. But the only way to know how something tastes is to take a bite for yourself.
When I discovered this, I wanted to practice it more, and like everything, the more I practiced it, the easier it got.
The mirror wants to shine back at you and tell you how loved and precious you are.
Thank you
