Babies cry when matches are pried from their chubby little fingers. Well, I’m sometimes that baby. I’ve learned that sometimes a path that I think is great is really a dead-end or one that would take me straight off a cliff. Like the baby, I have cried when that door slams in my face.
It’s not always easy as we can often be very sure of what we think we need to make us happy, but I’ve learned to trust that if a door is locked tight, let it stay locked, for there is a more beautiful door awaiting me. I still might cry or think I’ve lost out on something for a minute, but I’ve forced too many doors open and have gone off too many cliffs to believe this.
Locks never bar us from something we really need for true happiness. There is always a more beautiful door, but this is hard to see when we insist that the locked door is the right one.
Well said and so very true! If it’s meant to be, it will be, and at the appropriate time and in the appropriate manner. Thanks for sharing this reminder! Have a wonderfully blessed weekend! ❤️

Yes, it is hard, but it is best to stop trying to open a door that Spirit has locked up tight for your own well-being. I have found this to be true.
