Better days don’t just come; they require our participation and willingness to allow them to come into our experience. It’s not blind faith or some sort of wishcraft.
Better days tomorrow are found by what I do today, in this moment. Every moment offers a fresh opportunity for these “better days,” but it’s something I have to actively choose by being willing to listen within and follow in the way I am led. This leading is sometimes about doing something, but it’s more often about learning how to SEE things differently. The “doing” part just naturally follows from seeing differently. New beginnings come from seeing things through new eyes.
The most powerful changes I have seen are when I am determined to see others differently—to see the light in them regardless of how dim or nonexistent that light might seem.
It’s as though everyone is standing behind a dark glass. This dark glass is how they seem to be, how they appear to be. They are standing behind it, knocking on the glass, “Please don’t look at how I appear to be. Please look beyond this dark glass and see ME.”
Everyone we meet is standing behind a dark glass, knocking, wanting to be seen for the light they really are. And the beautiful thing is that when we are willing to look through this glass to the light that is always shining behind it, it is our self that we set free. It’s our own light that begins to shine forth.
In this, you can have complete faith that there won’t just be better days tomorrow, but they will be filled with inexplicable, mind-blowing experiences. But don’t take my word for it. Be determined to find out for yourself.
Thank you for always being so inspirational when one is not always in the best place It brings hope which is something I pray for everyday.
