I had deep feelings of despair from a very young age. I looked everywhere and in everything to find some sense of solace but my despair only deepened. Only after I began to look within did I find an indescribable sense of peace.
I realized that nobody and nothing could have ever given me what I was searching for because it was within me all along. I had just been looking in the wrong place.
In an instant, I released everyone and everything from the expectations I had chained them to. Not only could they not give me what I longed for, but they also didn’t need to, and all the many “failures” led me to where I finally found it.
There IS a light within you, but you must look to where it is in order to find it.
