Things are rarely as they appear to be, and our spiritual growth is no exception. There have been times when I thought I might be regressing when it eventually became clear that I was making tremendous progress.
Sometimes appearances, the way things look in our lives, can actually look like they are falling apart when we are making substantial spiritual shifts. I’ve experienced this more than a few times. It’s like the old life has to fall away to make room for the sprouting new life.
Hold fast to the vast roots that can’t be seen with the eyeballs. They are deeper than you think and will hold you up in even the fiercest winds.
Thank you to everyone for your kind comments on yesterday’s post. I don’t regret the things I’ve walked through–they were often the fuel that rocketed me to inexplicable places.
