I know I post about gratitude quite a bit. I do this because it is possibly the simplest spiritual practice with the most immediate and observable effects. You can be in the crappies one minute and cry tears of joy the next simply by consciously and seriously shifting focus from what you don’t have, what you want (and therefore are lacking), or have lost to the good present here and now.
This can be practiced all through the day, every moment…But only if you want to experience frequent and overwhelming episodes of pure joy!

I have such gratitude for you! Your light shines as bright as the sun. It’s true, when you start to feel down, you only need to think about the treasures you have. Smile and feel the joy.

It is about flipping the script for me. Sometimes it takes time to put things in perspective. There is always something to be grateful for. You just have to look harder at times, but it is there. Thank you for your wonderful posts
