If someone told me that I am covered in chicken feathers, I wouldn’t begin plucking; I would continue on because I know it’s not true, no matter how much they might seem to believe it is.
I would only get upset if I gave this suggestion truth; if I believe it’s true. Nothing has the power to make me believe this without my agreement in some measure. The key is and always has been in my own hand.
So, no matter how loudly, how often, or how long voices have suggested we are not worthy and precious, this same key is in our hands, and it is our choice to believe this or not.
If we hear any suggestions that we aren’t worthy, coming from an outer or inner voice, we can say, “Oh, that’s the same as if someone were to suggest I’m covered in chicken feathers. What the cluck! That’s just crazy talk,” and pluck it right out.
Happy plucking!
What the cluck 💛💙
