I started meditating many years ago during yet another very challenging period. I had tried everything and had looked under every rock for some sense of solace and found none. I had no idea what I was doing when I began; all I knew was that the only place I hadn’t looked was within and that I had nothing to lose by trying. Maybe due to the desperation I felt, perhaps it was some other reason that I have no knowledge of, but the first time I attempted meditating, I had a profound experience and knew that this is where I would find the answers I longed for. I haven’t found a remedy to anything better than getting quiet and listening within.
You don’t need to know how; you just need to be willing to listen within because you recognize in whatever measure that you don’t know. The “how” will unfold.
And you don’t have to be on your knees (physically) or sit any particular way for it to be effective.
Yes, anything you can do healthy to heal and comfort yourself. Meditation, exercise, praying, naps! are all wonderful ways to take care of yourself.

Take everything to God in prayer. He Loves Us so much that He died for Every Single Person. We All down here have to go through Good and Bad Times. And the Lord Knee that we would need his help to make it through this Life.I know that l Cannot Make It One Single Day Without Him.He said Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you shall find and knock it shall be open unto you. With God All Things Are Possible.Princess l have been through so much in my life that l had to ask the Lord to help me.My mom died almost 6 years ago,she had Ovarian Cancer and that nearly killed me then almost 2 years ago now my dad never got over loosing my mom and he had a a couple of surgeries on his ear that went bad and it made him hurt almost every single day for years and we took him to 3 specialist and they said nothing could be done. Then to top it off he had not smoked in 30 years and he ended up with Lung Cancer And COPD .He was so Allergic to a lot of Medication that nothing that he could take would help him.And the kind that he could take you could have suicideal thoughts. My dad committed suicide .That is the worst day of my life!I was a daddy’s girl and l could not understand why l had to go through that! But l came back to the Lord and He Alone Has Helped Me.I Cannot Make It One Day Without Him.Now All l want to do is go to Heaven One Day And Be With My Lord,Mom And my Dad.

Thank you, I have yet to find peace in the death of my husband and will most certainly try meditation along with prayer.
