Anyone who has ever done a creative project knows that things usually don’t pop out perfectly the first time. I know of no paint roller that magically creates a new painting or words that string themselves together without some massaging.
Sometimes, I have what I call creative burps when something just flows out effortlessly, but this isn’t often.
This holds true for everything, but we can dare to have the courage to try, to begin from wherever we are at, and be willing to really suck at whatever we try. I suck at things I do too often to count, but I learn, I grow, and I get better.
The only place to ever start is where you’re at.
