I’ve had a lot of time alone lately. Usually, I would love this, but this time it’s been a little challenging as I feel like I’m in a spiritual liminal period–a transitionary period between one stage and another. I can feel a deeper understanding on the horizon, but it’s not quite in focus yet, and the old understanding feels, well, old.
I do a lot of spiritual deep-diving, and it’s not always easy, and although I’ve had many, many mind-blowing spiritual experiences, periods like this one can be challenging. During times like these I have to slow way down and take tiny steps from one moment to another. I’m also doing short meditations, focusing on gratitude, and painting a lot as it’s a good meditation practice for me. I am getting little whiffs of this new vision but nothing solid yet.
I’m ready to flip the friggin’ page, but also know I can’t force the petals to open. Maybe today. (I’m a metaphor mixer.)
Wishing you happiness in the new year…thank you for your wonderful postings❤️

Thank you for sharing. I’m going through a season of change myself as a new widow of only four months. I appreciate knowing that I do not struggle alone.

Jane your Princess and pup are always so happy and up we just invision she’s a reflection of you – always up and full of happiness. Maybe you just need to take a hard look inside your caboose and do a makeover. You’ve said you spend lots of time there so a makeover might be just what you and it needs.
Just a thought. Got to get Jane very happy and up for 2022.
Hugs and love to our wonderful artist and mom of Princess.
