One of the things I came to see after I started to have profound spiritual experiences is that we all must eventually awaken, and will; it’s just a matter of when and how. There are two ways to do it: we can either be squeezed, which can be painful, or we can do it willingly and through joy. I’ve experienced plenty of both and believe me, joy is the better option.
I often write about following our dreams because this is how we can be led through joy. These dreams, these deep desires that stir our soul and make our hearts skip a beat aren’t random, and they aren’t self indulgent whims.
These dreams are the very individualized stirrings of the Divine (by whatever name resonates with you), pointing in the direction that leads to healing, and to the profound sense of wholeness and completion we all long for and are searching for, but often don’t know where to find it. They are little inner prompts that lead us to our true Self.
Following our dreams taint no little thing—it is the greatest service we can render to ourself and to every, single, living thing that has ever lived or ever will live.
So inspirational. Thank you.
