I’ve wanted to give y’all an update for a while. I’ve found that life’s challenges are opportunities for healing and to see and experience things that are simply beyond words. I’ve been healed of many things over the years, including a sense of deep grief.
That being said, this is what I’ve been doing and I’m happy to report that I am no longer feeling the sadness I was experiencing before. This does not mean that I don’t love Baby. I do. It doesn’t mean I’m not grateful to him. I am…deeply. My little angel dog has taught me more in these last weeks than I ever thought he would or could. My gratitude to him and for him continues to increase as does my love for him. I just don’t feel sad anymore.
Many of you have kindly suggested that I get another pup. We got Prince Pucci a little over three years ago. (We usually call him Pucci, Pucci Poo, or Poo…and sometimes Pucifer.) I have been working on bonding more with him as it was difficult before; Baby needed so much time and attention as his health declined. I don’t want another pup in addition to Pucci. Pucci is also a Maltese and is five pounds of feisty!
I am so very, very grateful for all of your support. Please, don’t feel sad for me. Celebrate with me. Celebrate the idea that our little ones don’t leave us, they don’t go anywhere…they go everywhere. xo

These little fur angels take a piece of our hearts when they leave us. The one thing they show us is they never wanted us sad. It was hard for him to leave but he had the advantage as he discovered he could always be with you, just in another way. And as you have arrived now without sadness, feel him jumping with joy beside you. Understanding hugs!💕

Celebrating healing with you, Princess. Indeed, our furry friends teach us a lot. The one thing I learned from my Buttons was

Animals can be our greatest teachers. One things I learned from an animal…my horse, Sundown… Animals soul’s can reincarnate just like people. They can come in different shapes sizes or breeds. Heal completely. You will know when it is time for another pup. “A calling will come” for an addition to your family and you will recognize Baby when your heart’s connect. Your bond is that strong!
