There’s a quiet Voice within that is always whispering. Some call it intuition, an inner compass, or inner GPS, while others call it the Holy Spirit. By whatever name, it is a Voice of infinite wisdom that knows exactly what we need to know, learn, see, do and not do every moment of every day, and it wants us to hear it and to follow its direction. It wants only our supreme joy and knows the path we need to follow to experience this joy. The beautiful thing is that it is so all-knowing that the way it leads us also serves the best interests of everyone…for all time! (I know I certainly don’t know what to do that would serve everyone.)

I have been working on listening for and following this Voice for many years–it is a practice. The things I’ve experienced, learned, and have seen are simply beyond words. It takes practice as it requires a great amount of trust in it that develops as we listen, are willing to follow it, and experience the fact that we can trust it. This can sometimes be challenging as it almost always leads in ways that don’t make sense to us, but as we trust and follow its promptings, we find experiences beyond our wildest dreams.
