My lovely and dear sister Roxanne passed 10 years ago yesterday. She was my greatest cheerleader and my best friend. I wish meager words could describe her inexplicable beauty, her laugh that would fill any room, and her light and zest for life. But alas, they are sorely inadequate. I am immeasurably blessed and privileged to have had her touch upon my life.
I know that even though she is now carried on angel’s wings, she is still with me…forever.
You both were very blessed to have each other for the wonderful time you did, for now you have an angel in heaven in your corner looking out for you and praying for you. You will see her again! God bless

What a beautiful lady, inside and out. It seems like you must be very much alike! Thank you for your delightful art work and quotes. I think we might be kindred spirits; although your drawings are of a blond, I’m a brunette who loves Maltese, sparkles, and just about everything else you reflect. I deeply appreciate you sharing your talents and sentiments. xxoo

Sisters are a part of us. We share so much love and history. Things others don’t understand, a sister does. What a blessing to have had such a lovely and kind sister. Thank you for sharing a small part of your life and hers with us. Your kindness is reflected in your artwork.

I’m so sorry for you loosing your precious sister. I feel the hurtin your words. I lost my beautiful girl 9 years ago this July. I’m so blessed for God to have let me be her mom for her 19 short years. It’s been very hard and I miss her every second. She was a spunky blue eyed sweet soul. When I first saw your girl you draw .. it was her. The personality, the petite body all of it. I think I just was drawn to your page. Thanks for your words and beautiful drawings we get to read and help us with our daily lives. You are a great encourager!!

I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s always so difficult to know why He takes those who mean SO much to us. This year on Feb. 13th I lost my baby sister to cancer. The next day, Feb. 14th I lost my oldest son. So, as I said, I do know your pain. It may have been 10 years but to those of us who loved them unconditionally, many times it feels like it just happened yesterday. Thanks for sharing the words & the lovely picture of your beautiful sister. (((hugs)))

There is nothing more painful in life than to lose a loved one. I am so sorry to read your beautiful sister, Roxanne, passed away 10 years ago on this day. Losing a sibling, a Best Friend and Mentor is devastating. You learn to move forward but no one can replace that enormous vapid space in your heart.
I can now see an entire different side to each piece of art you have shared with us over the years. They, now, have an entire new meaning to me.
By the time I was 37, I had lost my Brother… I was 11, my Mother….I was 22 and my Father….I was 37. When you walk through grief, survive grief and try to find some Semblance of Order in your life, you realize all that your loved one had, that they were and that they felt, will live on through you. Thus, every piece of art carries a piece of Roxanne with it.
Thank you for being so candid and transparent with us. You are such a gift to me and I appreciate every thought provoking caption and piece of art you create. Every morning, as I check my emails, yours is the dessert, I enjoy last. For whatever you draw or say, has some poignant importance to me on that exact day❣️ .

I’m so sorry for the loss of your sister. I myself cannot fathom your pain. At the same time you are so incredibly blessed to have had such an unbreakable bond with her as that is something a lot of families do not have.
May God hold you and comfort you as reflect back on your memories. ❤
