I generally avoid using the word God because there are so many preconceived ideas associated with the word that it can make it difficult to reach the experience of what that word represents. Years ago I felt like the word was interfering with me reaching a deeper, direct experience.
While in meditation, I asked for another word that might help me move past some of the limited concepts associated with the word to a deeper experience. As I sat quietly listening, I “heard” the gentle voice that I’ve come to know and trust say, “The Everything.”
With this is mind, I invite you to try a little exercise that I have found helpful. Make a list of attributes you might associate with the word God. Some examples might be:
God loves me.
God is my friend.
God is beautiful.
God is love.
God is my friend.
I understand that things might not appear this way, but try the best you can to turn your mind away from how things APPEAR to be and just pay attention to how you feel as you now read your list while replacing the word “God” with the word “Everything.”
I like the word Everything! Yes!!! Better than GOD, I am starting to use it and is working for me, Thank you I love reading the messages you bring, there’s so much positivity I am so hooked. Blessed be !!!

Thanks Gigi! Personally, I have found this so helpful to bring me to the experience of what God really is. I’ve had profound experiences using this exercise and others using the idea of God as everything. It’s so humbling and beyond beautiful. xo

You have been so generous sharing your talent and wise words. It is up to you, not anyone else to share whatever you like. If someone doesn’t like, or misinterprets, that is their own problem. Please keep doing whatever you like. I love you and have learned so much from you!

To you anonymous. The post did not say nor even promote anyone not using the name GOD!!! Wake up and read the post for its meaning and not substitute your own.
Geez people use what ever name you wish. This was just Merely an exercise and not gospel.

But the name GOD to me is beautiful. And to me it means “Everything”. I’m sorry I guess i’m not understanding why you can’t mention the greatest name ever always.

I tried the exercise you suggested, even though I already know “God” is everything. Reading the lines to myself, I was astonished at the feeling of warmth and love that came up and filled me, as I read “Everything is my friend. Everything loves me. Everything is beautiful…” it may seem to be a bit of simple word substitution, but it works as a powerful experience in becoming open to love. It moves the idea from just the head (intellectual only) to the heart and body (all encompassing). Thank you so much for sharing this.

It seems as though this post has caused some backlash. For those that do not understand what was being conveyed I tell you this. Is our creator confined to a three letter word (GOD)?
Do we seek true enlightenment from a name? Does the love that overtakes is in our dark times demand to be called God?
Most importantly this was meant to be an exercise to help all of us open our minds to the experience.
Keep speaking your mind princess. You are an inspiration to myself and many others. Your helping those that are truly opened minded enough to want to experience more that the status quo.
I enjoy your post everyday and share them with the people around me that I both love dearly and those that need inspiring words.
All my love
