I’m taking time to rest my tired twinkle this season. We went to a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner with friends, which was lovely. Over the next week, I’m slowly doing a little Christmas decorating.
It’s been a very busy and challenging year as I’ve been setting up our new house in Napa, California, and I’m pooped.
My jingle and twinkle are set to slow-mo this year because I don’t want to be crazy busy. I want to have more time for quiet reflection this holiday season and beyond.
For me, this is one of the most important things I do; I simply must take time to go inward; otherwise, I feel like a flower in desperate need of water.
Whether your lights are on the highest setting or are softly glowing, give yourself permission to rest your twinkle, even for a few minutes.
