I came across this that I wrote some time ago, and I’m also posting it as a reminder to myself as I find myself in that darkness right now.
Like the Sun, the light is always shining within, but sometimes we have to pass through some dark clouds to see it. Hang on. Don’t be fooled by the darkness; when we pass through, it’s sometimes an indication that we are moving closer to that light. We will never be left in the dark. We all push through eventually and blossom. It’s our destiny to blossom.
I know it can seem challenging, but the best way I’ve seen to pass through those dark clouds is to learn not to fight them. Fighting them is like shadowboxing; when I punch, my shadow punches, but when I lay down my arms, so does the shadow.
One of the most common ways we shadowbox is by saying, “This shouldn’t have happened. It’s not supposed to go this way. This should be different, etc.” As soon as we do this, our arms are up, so the fight begins.
I found it helpful instead to get quiet, look within, and say, “Okay, how can I see this differently right here and now? The light is shining regardless of how this dark cloud appears. How can I see this differently so I can SEE the light that IS shining?”
Sometimes the clouds part very quickly, and sometimes I have to be very vigilant for quite a long time, but there are no clouds that won’t eventually give way to the light.

Sassy you make all of your fans so happy and help us all in our darkest moments😔 We all love you ♥️🥰 so much, and May the happiness and blessings you give to others bless you always too‼️🥰♥️😘

I’m sorry you are in the darkness now. You bring so much light to so many it seems you should be spared. Keep your head up and your prayers going up too.

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.Romans 5:3-5 ESV He is walking with you.

Thank you for the awesome reminder! I learned it was easier to accept the darkness as well and see what it shows me, rather than fight with it. It is hard at times, but so worth it for your own mental wellbeing!
