Our heart speaks in whispers. Our “heart” is our deepest sense of joy, our inner compass, that deep knowing that life’s busyness can so easily drown out. It’s not the sentimental or romantic heart that I’m referring to but the heart that bubbles from the inner depths.
This heart is always speaking attempting to lead us down the best pathways, but too often we think we know where I happiness can be found. I can only speak for myself, but my experiences have proven that I really don’t know what’s best, and I am far better served by listening to those whispers. It can take courage and practice to listen to these inner promptings because sometimes it won’t seem to make sense; it can feel like you’re walking down an unknown path without a map. We need to practice and learn how to hear, what it feels like, and that we can trust it even if we don’t understand where it’s leading us or why.
I’ve likened following my heart to a pilot learning to fly a plane on instruments. Many of us have heard of small planes crashing because a pilot became disoriented; their senses (or what they think is best) told them that the plane was higher than it was, or upside down, or turned, and the plane crashes. In order to become instrument rated, a pilot learns how to fly in the dark and in conditions with little or no visibility. She learns how to read and trust those instruments even if the senses suggest something else. And just like the pilot learning to trust a plane’s instruments, we can learn to trust our inner guidance system (our heart), which not only prevents many crashes in life, but leads us on incredible adventures carried on wings!
Yes its true.. it only needs acceptance in ur mind and heart.. so that u will easily move forward. Go for the best!

For me it seems to be helpful to listen to my inner voice which I call the Holy Spirit. Seems to save time and pain. Thank you for your insight on this inner voice.

This is so true. I have been following my heart since my mom passed away almost a year ago, and it has helped me to become a new person, happier, more fulfilled and meeting some wonderful new people. Thanks for this one!

it’s hard to, intentionally block all the busyness to listen, really listen, to our heart … thanks for the reminder
