Like many in the USA I found this election scary and felt a deep sense of uncertainty–I was concerned that someone who is sexist, racist, and who mocked those with disabilities among other things, might become president. I slept fitfully after the results came in but today my focus is on praying and trusting that those who will soon be running our country will be guided in the way that serves all in the highest way possible. Yes, there has been quite a bit of hatred and disrespect expressed by those in this election, but MY hatred towards them is not going to help the matter and so I choose to reach higher. And although I may not be there yet, I am determined to go in this direction and invite you to join me. xoxo

Let’s come together…

I believe that love heals, but I am appalled by the vicious actions of those whose candidate lost. Hate is filling the streets. Heartbroken.

Ooooh this has made my day and Im Australian! I have seen sooo much horribleness on my Facebook feed from people who don’t trust God and wow… It might not be what some people want but no matter what happens/happened, we trust the King of Kings more than anything else.

Thank you for helping to ease my pain a little. I also had a sleepless night and kept thinking “How could so many pundits, polls and researchers be so wrong?” I have come to the conclusion that that the election had another assist from our Russian hacker connection. How difficult would it be to manipulate the votes at selected targeted minority precincts? They had no problem getting into the DNC server. Just some food for thought and a warning we must be vigilant. I pray that justice will be served quickly before our beloved Nation is destroyed. Sorry for the rant but I am distraught.

Beautifully said! And yes, that’s all we can do is pray.

This was not an either/or comment, i.e., not meant as support for Hillary but simply expressing concerns about the candidate that won and looking to rise above them and uniting.
