Thanks to all of you for all of your support yesterday and always! Facebook has been so difficult for some time and for some reason my post didn’t even go out to anyone yesterday. (I can see all kinds of stats that y’all can’t see on your end.) There are also a few recent posts that are just missing–I can see them but others can’t. It’s been over three years of anywhere from 4-10 hours a day, 365 days a year building the Facebook platform and so it’s more than a little frustrating. I do always try to see the good in everything and am thinking that maybe it’s time to redirect and focus on this site and Instagram more. They might be doing me a favor.
With Facebook I have to be soooo careful about what I post and what I say in the comments– if their algorithms pick up certain words or links, FB sees the post as promoting something. They want people to pay to promote so they don’t send the post out to peep’s newsfeeds and subsequent posts often suffer as well for some time. It’s actually one of the most frustrating platforms to work on; I feel like I’m walking on eggshells with them all the time and it takes so much time and energy that I have little left to make new books and other goodies for y’all. Yikes!
I will try to post on FB a few more times and see if the posts get out but regardless of whether they do, I will be working at moving away from FB. I think it’s just time.
Thank you to all who have subscribed here and on Instagram. They are so much easier to work on. I really do appreciate all of your support! Big smooches from me and the Pup! (Just so you know, he’s a much better smoocher than me. 😉 ) It’s really late here and I’m very sleepy so excuse any typos please.
Here’s the link to the Princess and the Pup on Instagram in case you missed it: The Princess’s Instagram

I love having them both on Instagram and Facebook. I understand your frustration. I can’t do without your inspirations. It is what gets me through. Especially with a Maltese on them. My favorite breed. I am going through a really tough time right now and your illustrations always make me smile and pick me up and I do share them with my friends. At least I attempt to. I hope I am getting them through to my friends. If you decide to post in another forum, please make sure we know where you are going or what new journey you decide to take. You are a wonderful person for all that you do with your talent. Please know that their is someone who truly appreciates your work.

You have to click on the link in the email and that takes you to website where you then see the pics. It’s just the way these sites work. 🙂

I really enjoy getting these, everyday, through email. It brightens up my day! As for FB, it just irritates me that they “allow” some things that aren’t very good, yet don’t “allow” something as uplifting as your posts! More focus needs to be on good, instead of bad and negative. Love your work, don’t give up, and keep on keeping on!

Thank you! I can’t tell you how much it means to me to hear that these little images brighten your day even a wee bit! Truly. I began creating them quite by “accident” (don’t really believe in accidents) during a supremely challenging time in my life and I dare say they were in large part what kept me going. So to hear that they help others in even the tiniest measure is very meaningful to me. xo 🙂

Thank you so much. I really do believe that everything happens for a reason and do trust that it’s all always for the best however much it might not seem to be sometimes. With that being said, if the FB shenanigans continues I will have more time to spend on putting the new book together and other goodies! It’s unfortunate that all those years of building the FB platform can be wiped away in an instant but I’ll just continue to build other platforms. “Fall seven times, stand up eight.” 😉 Thank you again.
